2025-26 School Year

In an effort to simplify our tuition and fee structure, we are pleased to announce our transition to a comprehensive tuition policy which will eliminate participation fees for such areas as athletics, performing arts, retreats, graduation, and other select fees.

Through consultation with our Advisory Board, the Diocese of Cleveland, and current parents who attended our information session, the consensus was clear – our participation fee process can be difficult for families to manage and discourages some students from getting involved at Lake Catholic High School. It is our intention, through this change, to simplify our total costs for families while encouraging student participation by removing many of the fees.

For those returning families whose students do not participate in any of the qualified activities, we will offer a one-time $250 credit at the end of the 2025-26 school year. More information on receiving this credit, as well as answers to other questions can be found on the Participation and Other Fees page of the school website.

With the many scholarship opportunities available through the Diocese and Lake Catholic, in addition to the availability of Ohio's school choice scholarships, we are dedicated to making a Catholic education as accessible as possible. However, we do recognize and appreciate the financial commitment that comes with providing your child a Lake Catholic education. Therefore, this updated tuition structure aims to simplify the financial process for you, ensuring your family can focus on what truly matters: your student’s academic, spiritual and social well-being.

We are grateful for your partnership and understanding as we work to create an enriching environment for our students. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns regarding this update.

2024-25 School Year

Registration Fees are due at the time of class registration. Registration for continuing students generally occurs in February for the following year. The registration fee for continuing students is $250.00. Registration for new students occurs in early March or as scheduled with the Admissions Department. The registration fee for new students is $350.00.

The fee is used to defray the costs of registration, Program of Studies, technology, and the Student-Parent Handbook. This fee also provides students with free admission to all home athletic events and musical concerts. It provides a student ID and yearbook photo, literary publications, class retreats, and Senior Turkey Day.

A $100 graduation fee is added to each senior's tuition account in July. This fee helps to offset the cost of commencement, including the ceremony, cap and gown, diploma with embossed cover, and a final transcript.

Course fees may be incurred because of the nature of some courses. For example, certain courses may require a workbook that corresponds with the text, and students in art classes may be asked to purchase various supplies. Students in AP classes are required to take the corresponding AP exam at a cost of approximately $95 each.

Participation fees help to offset the costs of transportation, officials, uniforms, and equipment for each activity. These fees are added to tuition accounts at the beginning of each season. To encourage our students to participate in more than one activity, the participation fees per family will not exceed $1,500 per year (not including fees paid directly to Lake Catholic).
